Making a stark political statement beneath a veil of jazz-inspired psychedelia, Mild High Club's newest single 'Dionysian State' is one hell of a trip. Lulling you into a false sense of security with its warm instrumentation, the accomplished 3 minute piece features dreamy keys, bouncy brass sections and upbeat rhythms that carry a selection of easy-going vocal melodies that directly contradict the heavy lyrics on show.
